I recently read about the legendary Babe Ruth who was known for giving his opinion-whether you wanted it or not. In one of the games there was an umpire that angered “The Babe” and he violently disagreed with one of his calls. Ruth shouted, “There are forty thousand people in the stands who know that pitch was a ball!” The umpire, Pinelli, calmly replied, “but mine is the only one that counts.” But that is not true. There is the great judge of the universe who will one day declare to all the world that, “at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth and things under the earth. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Phil. 4:10,11).

Dear  friend of mine, someday that great Umpire in heaven is going to make that call for all of us. We are either safe or we are out. No appeal. If you have Jesus, you are safe!
